Cyber Signalling

Cyber Signalling is a real-time train traffic management system for the private/industrial railway sidings based on the proprietary 'Cyber Signalling' technology developed by the Lab To Market Innovations Pvt. Ltd. (L2M Rail). It is a combination of IoT based Track Occupation Information System (ITOIS), Fibre Bragg Grating (FBG) Sensing Technology, Axle Counter and Wireless Operation of Point Machines, Level Crossing Gates etc. and so on. The solution aims at decentralizing the control of railway sidings to support multiple operators who could be on the move. It is designed to be completely wireless and all the data is stored on your exclusive private cloud to provide real-time information to the authorized personnel.

How is our Cyber Signalling different from Conventional Signalling ?

L2M Rail’s Cyber Signalling System enables authorized personnel to view the entire yard from anywhere through a web based interactive GUI. Multiple authorized personnel can set the route from different locations within the yard including the moving locomotive. Authorised personnel can remotely operate Points, Level Crossing Gates and even the Locomotive.

How is safety ensured with Cyber Signalling?

Adequate interlocking has been provided to ensure that the command to operate a turnout (point) shall be ignored if one vehicle is already within the infringement zone of the turnout. In case the vehicle is moving towards a turnout that is not in the right position for the direction of the train movement, the system sends an alert to warn the loco pilot of a possible ‘Trail Through’.
